Say hi to Arthur, the chipmunk!
This is very different from the stuff I usually draw, I know, but I really enjoyed it nontheless! I had this assignment for my art school - to draw a hairy animal - and I didn't want to draw dogs, cats or tigers, too cliche. Instead I decided to draw something cuter and weirder, thus the chipmunk idea came up. Choosing a reference photo was easy, 'cause I fell in love with this little guy as soon as I saw his pic
. The painting is on a 30X50 cm watercolor paper and I used watercolors and colored pencils. 3-4 hours of work.
I don't know why but Arthur seems a fitting name for him
